I always love a nice cold glass of sangria. Whether it’s white or red wine sangria, the recipe is similar.
This time, I made white wine sangria with some citrus and my favorite summer fruit…strawberries and peaches.
I left the fruit to soak in the wine overnight in the fridge and then added the chilled club soda right before serving it the next day.
1 orange (sliced)
1 lime (sliced)
1 lemon (sliced)
1 peach (sliced)
5 strawberries (sliced)
1 bottle of chilled white wine
2/3 cups sugar
1/2 liter gingerale or club soda
Add all ingredients to a pitcher (except the last one) and stir to mix. If making this the night before, refrigerate and add the last ingredient before serving.
If serving immediately, add gingerale then serve.
I normally omit the sugar if I use gingerale since it’s sweet enough for me, but it’s all a matter of taste!
