I used to make homemade ice cream with an ice cream maker. I would have to remember to freeze the bowl of the mixer overnight and then go through quite the process before getting to enjoy a cool bowl of ice cream.

That’s probably why I stopped making it at home for a while and just pick up store bought ice cream. There’s nothing like instant gratification when it comes to dessert!

Now that I’ve discovered no churn ice cream, the only wait time is the time it takes to freeze. You can make any flavor by using other fruits such as bananas, blueberries, peaches or any other. I chose strawberries since I just happened to pick some up from the store.

 

I also tried making chocolate flavor by blending 1/4 cup cocoa and 1 cup milk in place of the strawberries.
