Bacon wrapped asparagus is really easy to make and can be served as an appetizer or side dish.  Add some quinoa as I did, rice or perhaps pasta on the side and it makes a simple lunch or snack.

To make these bacon wrapped asparagus, all you need is a package of bacon and washed, fresh asparagus spears.

1. Pre-heat your oven to 400 F

2. Next, line a Baking Sheet with Parchment Paper or you can use a Roast Pan or Broil Pan instead. (I prefer the broil pan with rack since it catches the drippings and the wrapped asparagus fits well on it)

3. Then simply take a slice of bacon and wrap it around 2 to 3 spears of asparagus. (The number of spears just depends on how thick or thin the asparagus is)

4. Place the wrapped asparagus onto the baking sheet, roast pan or broiler pan. (whichever you chose to use from step 2)

5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the bacon is cooked to your liking.

*You can also barbecue them, but I haven’t tried it that way……yet.
