When throwing a birthday party, it’s usually easier to keep things as simple as possible. For my nephew’s first birthday, my sister couldn’t think of a cute party favor that would be really easy to put together. She figured that most kids love bubbles so she bought enough Miracle Bubbles for all the kids coming to the party and made her own thank you tags using the Cricut Expression Machine.

She used the Sweet Treats Cricut Cartridge to cut out the “thank you” part (out of polka dotted cardstock) as well as a 1.5″ circle out of white cardstock. She glued the words to the white circle.

The “Thank You” part also yielded a circle (2″) which she decided to use as the backing to the white cardstock circle. She used blue and yellow polka dotted cardstock to go with the color theme of the party and to mix and match the tags.

To tie them onto the bottles of bubbles, she simply punched a small hole at the top of the tag and used Cotton Twine to attach them.

Very simple and cute! The kids loved the bubbles and I’m sure had a lot of fun playing with them at home!

Linking up to some of these fun parties!

These tags look great. Too bad my loot bag days are over. I always loved putting them together, and this is such a nice touch!
